Department of Veterans' Services
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is the only state in the Union that has made generous provisions through state law by providing an array of services to veterans, their spouses and their dependents in their local community.
Through the department veterans can receive information and direction concerning Annuities, Awards & Medals, Bonuses, Burial Information, Chapter 115 Benefits, Employment, Flags and Grave Markers, Property and Excise Tax Exemptions, Record Retention, Outreach, Shelters and Transitional Housing, Soldier's Homes, and Veterans' Services.
