The Town of Athol is a scenic community located between the picturesque Tully Mountains to the north and the Quabbin Reservoir to the south in North Central Massachusetts. - Project Bread: From now through August 7, the Athol Public Library is a summer meal site, providing a free lunch to anyone under the age of 18. Click here for more details.

- Our Transfer Station (at 1010 West Royalston Road) is open four days a week and accepts both waste material and recyclables.
