Seeking Athol Residents for Representation on the Town of Athol’s Open Space & Recreation Review Committee 

October 11, 2023 

The Town of Athol is seeking Athol residents to join the Town of Athol’s Open Space and Recreation Review Committee.  The Committee currently has the following vacancies for 3 full, voting members and 2 non-voting associate members and we welcome new members.  Members are appointed by the Athol Town Manager.   

The Open Space & Recreation Review Committee maintains and updates the Town’s Open Space & Recreation Plan, works collaboratively with other town departments and boards, especially with the Conservation Commission to balance the community’s desire for open space with economic development goals. The committee also works with Mount Grace Land Trust to leverage grant funds to preserve additional open space in the region.
