FULL-TIME PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHERS

The Athol Police Department is seeking applicants for full-time Public Safety Dispatchers. This is a benefited position with the SEIU collective bargaining unit and has a starting pay rate of $19.18 per hour.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, at least one year experience in a general clerical position involving working directly with the public, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicants must have no criminal record and consent to a CORI review prior to hire.

Prior dispatch experience and certifications in LEAPS/NCIC, E911 dispatching, CPR, first responder, and suicide prevention is preferred and required within 90 days of hire.
