Minnie French Conservation Area

Located off Chestnut Hill Avenue at Benton Place the Minnie French Conservation Area is named for a local conservationist, horticulturist, and naturalist who helped create the area. The 14-acre parcel connects through a variety of trails to the Mass Division of Fisheries and Wildlife -  Millers River Wildlife Management Area. The dry Oak woodlands provide habitat for White-tailed Deer, Bear and a variety of woodland birds including Black-throated Blue Warbler, Black and White Warbler and Red-eyed Vireo.
